Unmanned station on the  Peterborough-Quorn Line .

Station (on main line) with passing loop, goods road and a stockyard siding.

Like Hammond, Bruce was originally intended for a far greater future. It was a prime candidate for a branch line extension to the Wilmington line and plans for a large engine shed were drawn up. But none of these plans were realised.

The line from Eurelia to Quorn was closed in 1987 but the track from Quorn to the southern (Peterborough) end of the Bruce yard is still in place.

The station building, which was in ruins in the 1960s, has been fully restored as a private residence.
