SAR Peterborough

Multiple loops and sidings for the station, goods, grain and stockyard. Two loco servicing facilities with turntables. Major manned station, depot and junction on the  Port Pirie-Broken Hill Line , the  Peterborough-Quorn Line  and the  Peterborough-Terowie Line . The Port Pirie-Broken Hill Line was converted to standard gauge in 1969 and the Peterborough-Terowie Line was converted to broad gauge in 1970. Peterborough then became a triple gauge location.
