Getting Started: If you have already closed the opening message window then the first step is to pause the session by pressing the  P  key. If you decide to set the session clock to a different starting time (for example: to match the train timetable shown below) then follow the instructions shown in the Orders section Next locate your loco. Either:- Open the Finder Tool (press  Ctrl   F ) and type, in the Name field, the name of the loco, in this case SAR RM55 or SAR RM56, then click the tick icon, OR Open the Driver List (bottom left of the screen) and then scroll through the list to find either:- the loco name (SAR RM55/SAR RM56) OR the driver icon (named Driver 55 or Driver 56) - this is a non-animated icon then click the drivers Eye icon to take control of the loco. Take a few moments to get your bearings. Click (this link will open in this window) to show the location details and track plans for Gladstone. Likewise for . In each location details page:- the  tab gives an overall summary of each location with a "potted" history (where available). the  tab reveals the invisible  Track Marks for Drive To commands. the  tab lists all active industries and their commodities. the  tab describes the names, locations and settings of all junction switches as well as some switch sets you may want to use. Each location details page has direct links to the adjacent locations so you can explore along the route. When you are ready to start, reload the Peterborough Base Session page (click the Scenarios button on your current location page) and select this Scenario again or just use the Back button on your browser - whichever is quicker. Switch back to Trainz Close the opening message window and, if Pause is shown on the screen, press the  P  key to start the session.

Orders: Reverse the train from:- Gladstone Depot  Loco Shed  into Gladstone  Station  for trains 202, 203 & 206, or Wilmington  Loco Depot  Shed into Wilmington  Station  for train 600 Proceed as shown in the timetable. The timetable is based on manual control (manually driving and setting switches) while the times for AI control will be 3-4 minutes faster over the entire route For For train 202, after arriving at Booleroo Centre, turn on the  WYE  and reverse back to the  Station  For trains 203/206, after arriving at Wilmington, turn on the  WYE  and stable in the  Loco Depot  Shed After returning to Gladstone stable in the Depot  Loco Shed , after turning on the turntable. The Base Session has the clock set to start at This can be changed to any required time. Driving Notes: Summaries of the facilities and product loads at all locations along these lines are provided in the link Train 600 (early morning Wilmington to Gladstone) is the return service of train 203/206 (Gladstone to Wilmington) run on the previous evening. To allow you to run train 600 without first running train 203/206 an additional RM set, SAR RM56, has been placed in the loco shed at Wilmington The Wilmington Line is not signalled beyond Gladstone Yard. Train Order working is in operation on the line. You have been issued with the appropriate orders and the authorisation for the Wilmington Line. All facing junctions on the Wilmington Line have a speed limit of 15mph. If a request stop is made at Yandiah then stop on the Main Line at the Main Halt track mark (alongside the Yandiah name board). The approaches to all locations are protected by invisible signals to prevent the AI Half Speed Slowdown Problem when approaching a signal at stop. Trackmarks and industries have been provided for AI Drive To Trackmark, Drive via Trackmark and Drive to  Industry  commands. Click for details. Manual (no AI) driving is possible. As a visual driving aid, a Caution warning sign has been placed at the location of the Main Approach Dn and Main Approach Up trackmarks. Click for details. If driving manually in yards, you are responsible for correctly setting any catch points.
