Unmanned location on the Port Augusta-Hawker Line . Hawker became the terminus after the line to Maree was closed in 1956. Station and goods loops, stockyard siding and loco servicing facilities.
In the 1960s the line between Quorn and Hawker had only a single freight service each week. There was no passenger service. The line was closed in 1972.
