Line 1: Line 1:
Track and interlocking tower paths diagram of Hammond on the South Australian Government Railways Northern Narrow Gauge System (Peterborough Division). Shown as it existed in the early 1960s prior to the arrival of the standard gauge Sydney to Perth Trans-Continental line. The standard gauge line replaced the narrow gauge line from Port Pirie to Broken Hill and made the Quorn Line an isolated narrow gauge line. Hammond was going to become a major commercial and freight centre on the line but this never eventuated. It is now largely a ghost town. Created to support the TRS19 version layout.
