When an item in Content Manager shows the status "Missing Dependencies", it means one or more items that are required are not installed.

Many/most of the Missing Dependencies will be available on the Trainz Download Station (DLS). Other items may be hosted on 3rd party websites - for these we suggest using "TrainzKuidIndex.com" to search for the non-DLS items.

[edit] Listing Dependencies

Select one or more items that show Status = Missing Dependencies Right-click and choose List Dependencies. A new window opens listing all the dependencies for the item. Either sort by Status to find missing items, or add a filter "Installed = False" Items that show as <unknown asset> are not hosted on the DLS. Items that show as "Status = Available for download" reside on the DLS and can be downloaded (see below).

[edit] Listing Dependencies Recursively

Because this list may incluse items that will also have missing dependencies, you may wish to choose "List Dependencies Recursively", which will keep iterating until all missing denendencies are listed.

[edit] Downloading Missing Dependencies

Select one or more items that show Status = Missing Dependencies Right-click and choose Download. This will commence the operation to download all the items shown if you choose "List Dependencies"
